    OK, here are the questions for week 4 of the 2021 CAM Virtual Scavenger Hunt! There are five questions, but only three sets of clues. Good luck!

    We've had a lot of questions about phishing and passwords during this scavenger hunt because these are the leading attack vectors cybercriminals use to breach networks and steal data or abuse accounts. Phishing has not only increased in intensity and frequency, the costs to clean up after it have increased. The email security company Proofpoint has posted on their site a 2021 study by the Ponemon Institute that observes the dramatic increase in the cost of phishing. According to this study how much does phishing cost large organizations annually? (This information is on the introductory page. There is no need to download the report.)

    Threatpost is a cybersecurity website that reports on many different aspects of the cybersecurity environment. According to an August 17, 2021 article, the cost of phishing has quadrupled over the last ______ years. The article also states that the real costs are not the ransom payouts to cybercriminals, but the clean up from these attacks. In addition to ransomware incidents, they mention another type of attack abbreviated "BEC". What does BEC stand for?

    For the last question we will escape the realm of cybersecurity for a bit and get a reminder of the prize you are answering all these questions for.
