OK, here are the questions for week 2 of the 2024 CAM Virtual Scavenger Hunt!

The Berry College Office of Information Technology (OIT) has successfully enrolled the community in multi-factor authentication (MFA) on their Berry account. According to the Multi-factor Authentication Quick Info page on the Cybersecurity News & Alerts site, the recommended second factor is the Microsoft Authenticator app for your smart phone. When you are using the app to authenticate your Microsoft account it requires a short confirmation number to reply to the request. How many digits is this number? Please answer with the word for the number of digits, not the number.

In addition to typing in the confirmation number, the app requires you to select one of two options. What are these options? If you don't want to have to login to your account to bring up the Authenticator, you can check the Multi-Factor Authentication Quick Info page on this site.

The Verizon Data Breach Investigations Report (DBIR) is an annual publication that analyzes cybersecurity incident data from public and private organizations across the globe. Data on incident trends across industries and regions can be leveraged when advocating for the importance of security awareness education in preventing breaches. According to the "Top Takeaways" from the 2024 Verizon DBIR, what percentage of breaches involved a non-malicious human element?

Still in the "Top Takeaways" for the Verizon DBIR, 14% of breaches involved the exploitation of vulnerabilities as an initial access step. This number is almost _____________ the amount from last year.
